Port Talbot's Morgan McIntosh stopped countryman Lewys Parfitt in the third round of their showdown in Cardiff to capture the Welsh Area Welterweight title.
The 29-year-old dropped Parfitt with a heavy right hand in the second round of their clash at the Utilita Arena but was unable to force the stoppage before the bell rang.
McIntosh began the third round at a relentless pace where he floored Parfitt twice more before the towel was eventually thrown in.
The Welsh duo had been rivals throughout their respective amateur careers and were able to finally put their feud to bed on the big stage.
Speaking in the post-fight interview, an emotional McIntosh declared himself as the best fighter at his weight in Wales, a statement that cannot be argued with following that electric performance.
