Swansea's Willy Gilheaney appears to be on the verge of finalizing the biggest fight of his professional career as he looks to add more titles to his collection.

The 29-year-old has had an impressive start to his tenure, remaining unbeaten in six contests since he made his debut back in October of 2023.

Gilheaney was last in action back in August of last year when he defeated Carvell Crocker to capture the Welsh Area middleweight title and become a two-weight Welsh champion.

The highly-rated Welshman was pencilled in to make his return to the ring last month but his scheduled clash with Muhammad Ali was cancelled with just five days notice.

Despite this unfortunate situation, Gilheaney has remained positive and could now be on the verge of securing the biggest test of his career to date.

Speaking on his official Facebook page, Gilheaney revealed that he is currently in negotiations for his next outing as he urges his loyal fanbase to support him as he prepares to enter the 'lions den'.

"Hey Guys and Gals ... My biggest fight to date for an even bigger title than before. But for this to happen I would need all the support I can. Who is ready to follow the Gladiator into the lions den?"

The Swansea star is slowly emerging as one of the most exciting fighters on the domestic scene and could now be in pole position to catapult himself to a major title opportunity next.
