Lauren Price Teases 'Exciting News' To Come After Upcoming Title Defence
Lauren Price is just days away from making her highly-anticipated return to the ring but already appears to be looking ahead into the future.
The unbeaten 31-year-old is set to make the maiden defence of her unified WBC, WBA and IBF world welterweight titles against Stephanie Pineiro at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff on Saturday night.
Price added the WBC and IBF welterweight titles to her collection last time out when she produced a career-best performance over Liverpool's Natasha Jonas back in March of 2025.
Whilst she looks to be very focused heading into her upcoming clash with Puerto Rico's Pineiro, Price has hinted that there is something big on the horizon.
In recent footage shared by BOXXER, Price didn't hesitate to back herself to get the job done over her Puerto Rican rival before revealing that she is set to reveal some 'exciting news' shortly after.
"Lauren Price is gonna get her hand raised, and then some exciting news to come. And that's all I can say!"
Rumours have already began to circulate about what could be next for Price should she be victorious on Saturday night, with many calling for an undisputed welterweight championship showdown with America's Mikaela Mayer.
Mayer currently holds the WBO world welterweight title and has recently expressed an interest in a future showdown with the Welsh star, a bout that would crown the first undisputed welterweight champion of the 'four belt era'.
