Jacob Robinson Reveals British Title Dream Ahead Of Ring Return

Jacob Robinson has his eyes on a future shot at the British Featherweight Championship as he prepares to make his long-awaited return to the ring.

The 31-year-old from Cardiff is set to fight for the first time since last September on the undercard of Lauren Price's world title defence tomorrow night.

'Baby Jake' is slated to face Nicaragua's Eliecer Quezada in a four round featherweight bout at the Utilita Arena in his hometown.

Robinson was originally pencilled in to face Middlesbrough's Caine Singh but the bout was scrapped at the last minute.

In an interview with The Puncher's Chance, Robinson revealed that he is 'eyeing up' an opportunity to box for the British Featherweight title in the near future.

"Yeah so obviously it's a good occasion obviously to be on. It's a big promotion. I'm basically eyeing up the British Title really, at featherweight. Obviously that's my weight, obviously I boxed Nathaniel [Collins] for the Commonwealth Title at featherweight. I'm obviously the reigning Welsh Featherweight champion so yeah, that's the fight really."

'Baby Jake' will make it three wins in his last three outings should he be victorious tomorrow, having suffered the only defeat of his career to reigning WBC Silver Featherweight champion Nathaniel Collins back in May of 2022.
